ABOUT SUSAN
I
became a Life Coach because it allows me to bring all parts
of myself to my work helping people change their lives. As a
social worker and psychotherapist, I learned to listen to
the deeper messages about what people want for their lives.
As an Employee Assistance consultant, I learned where to
find the resources people need to make their lives work
better. As a specialist in traumatic stress, I learned about
the incredible strength, resourcefulness and resilience of
people as they face life’s greatest challenges. As a wife
and mother, I learned the value of humor and perspective in
building a family and intimate relationships. Now, as a life
coach, my great joy is to inspire people to move beyond the
barriers that have held them back.
I love working with people in transition: people feeling
stale in their jobs and looking for something new; women
whose children are growing up and who finally have time to
focus on themselves; people beginning to raise a family and
trying to figure out how to balance everything; people
adjusting to being in a committed partnership and people
adjusting to being newly single.
My commitment to you is to help you refine your goals,
develop effective strategies for reaching them, and to
inspire you to create your life with passion and excitement.
“Being coached by Susan was FUN! This was unbelievably
refreshing and energizing after undergoing years of painful
therapy. As a largely healed incest survivor, I
knew I could include and account for my history of trauma in
the context of coaching, without it being a distraction or
unneeded focus. It was a wonderful safety net to know
that she has so much clinical experience as a therapist,
even though we did not do therapy.”
